Error by STOP button
Hi Admin, today I have a bug report during simulation at lease 30 times or more. That's really disturbed. I don't know if it is a bug or not. It happens some times by start button click but more by stop button click. The error code: Problemsignatur: Problemereignisname: APPCRASH Anwendungsname: vrep...

Upper Velocity Limit by a Joint control loop
Hi Marc, I'm now trying writing program in joint callback script instead of child script because of the delay time every simulation time. One question actually I've just forgot asking before weeks ago: If a joint can reach a speed of e.g. 3600°, why the max. number of "Upper velocity limit"...

how to delete new material
Hi Admin,
good morning.
As default there are 3 user defined materials in V-Rep. I can use "duplicate" button to copy a material. Is it possible to delete it?
Cheers,
Ji

Visualize Inertia arrow/indicator
Good morning Admin, i have two question about Inertia of an object / some grouped objects. I just ask the first one about the arrow of the inertia, which could be switched on via "Visualize Inertias" in View Function . http://s29.postimg.org/smdagymh1/inertia.png What I've understood the l...

Re: Maximum rotation velocity of Joint
Good morning Admin, thanks a lot for the answers. It is very helpful. 1, What you mean about less that 180° within one simulation step , is exactly right and now I can understand all I've tried about the Joint Velocity. So if I set dt=50ms, that means velocity < 3600° per second. So it would be no p...

Re: Maximum rotation velocity of Joint
Hi Admin, sorry I wrote wrong, not 35rpm but 35 rotations per second. In my simulation a vehicle must run over on some cylinders (one wheel over two cylinders, totally 8 cylinders). The vehicle has max. velocity of 200km/h. So the cylinders must have the ability to reach this velocity to simulate li...

Maximum rotation velocity of Joint
Hi Admin,
In my simulation I have to reach a max. velocity of 200km/h. My cylinder has a diameter of 0.5m so it's circumference is 1.57m.
Translated into rotation is: 35rpm or 12600°/s.
Is there anyway to reach this velocity with a joint or any other solutions?
Cheers,
Ji

Hi Admin,
good morning. I can't find upload here, so I uploaded scene file on a random internet upload website.
