Re: How to make the object frame parallel to the defined frame in stl file.
Hello, typically, STL files do no contain any frame information. It is just a collection of vertices and indices. Once you have imported a shape, V-REP will define a frame around the shape in a way as to minimize the volume of the bounding box. You can however change the bounding box / frame by sel...

How to make the object frame parallel to the defined frame in stl file.
Hello
When a .stl object is imported, the frame of the object is different the frame defined in .stl.
Would you please tell me how to make the object frame parallel to the defined frame?
Thanks,
Zhe

How to change parameters of physics engine
Hi everyone
I wonder how to change the parameters of physics engine. For example, I want to built a bouncing ball with elastic collision. Is there any way that I can change the parameters?
Thank you very much.
Cheers,
Zhe

Is port number always be 19997
Hi everyone
I am new to V-rep. I am trying to use remoteApi C and Matlab. It seems that 19997 works for those two remoteApis. I am not familiar with the term "port number". Does 19997 is always the correct port number for different remoteApi?
Thanks
