ROSInterface question: ROS Node at another machine
Hello all, According to this: http://www.coppeliarobotics.com/helpFiles/en/rosInterf.htm When we want to use ROS with Vrep, what happens is that once we start Vrep with ROSInterface support, it finds a roscore running in the network and creates a ROS Node that serves as communication point between V...

Re: Bullet 3 gpu physics support
Hello,
Has this been implemented?
How about the other physics API, like ODE, Newton and the others? Do they benefit from GPU acceleration as well?
Cheers,
Klaus

MuJoCo?
Have any of you heard about this MuJoCo library for physics simulation?
In this paper they make a comparison between Bullet, Havok, MuJoCo, ODE and PhysX:
https://homes.cs.washington.edu/~todoro ... ICRA15.pdf
They also mention V-REP a number of times.

Re: robot not moving straight
Hello,
The problem is with the wheels.
Your wheels are not of the same size, they are twisted and also not aligned.
If you fix these things it goes in a straight line.
Cheers

Re: Path Planning via the OMPL Plugin for V-REP
Hello, is there a tutorial for how to use it?
For instance, on how to get to what we see in the scenes 6DoFHolonomicPathPlanning.ttt, 3DoFHolonomicPathPlanning.ttt or for using it for path planning with robots like Kuka or the quadcopter?
Regards

Re: The physics engine currently selected is not supported
Running from the shortcut solved the problem!
Whenever I run vrep.exe directly it says the plugins are missing, if i run it with the desktop shortcut created during installation it works.
Is there an explanation for this?

Re: The physics engine currently selected is not supported
Hello, thanks for the response. Actually it works at first, but after I reset my computer it produces that error I mentioned. In order to make it work again I need to reinstall VREP all over again. Including the VC2010 / VC2012 redistributables. Taking a look at the console window as you suggested I...

The physics engine currently selected is not supported
Greetings, I've just installed V-Rep EDU 3.2.2 rev. 1 in my Windows 7 laptop and I am getting the following error message: The physics engine currently selected is not supported (you might be missing a required plugin). Simulation will not run correctly. There is also the following message in the GU...
