Hi,

I have that problem: If i start v-rep and open that haptic example CHAI3D plugin was not found.
What can i do to fix it?

First, check the console window to see if the plugin is present and the plugin load operation failed. In any case, it is best to download the newest CHAI3D software, and to compile the V-REP plugin in that package.

I downloaded but i do not know what i have to do with that on linux.
Could you tell me?
I cannot see the CHAI3d plugin load would be succeed. so there is no.

You will have to compile the whole package, including the V-REP plugin contained in there. Refer to the readme file from that package.

If i start V-rep in the console there is no Chai3d.
and v_repExtCHAI3D.dll is still missing.

It seems you lack some knowledge in various fields. I suggest you google about compiling and check the package content for instructions. You basically have to rebuild the CHAI3D libraries including the CHAI3D V-REP plugin.

Hello,

Finally i could solve it so there is no that written mistake... The plugin is also loaded. But if i start the example for interface to haptic device project nothing is happening. I mean I am moving the falcon but nothing happening in Vrep. What could the mistake be?
In the end i would like to use it for controlling a KUKA robot with Falcon.

Can you suggest something?

Are you using the demo model located in Models/other/Interface to haptic device.ttm? With that model you should be able to see the haptic device cursor move, and you should be able to touch and feel the created shapes.

I am running Vrep and ROS (with roscore) at the same time.

Go step-by-step. First just try that model. Can you see the shapes? (cube, sphere, cylinder and cone). Is there an error message when you start the simulation? Can you see the cursor moving if you move the haptic device? Can you touch and feel the shapes?
