In this video, I use the V-REP VR interface to critically evaluate the quality of automatically generated inspection paths. All examples feature inspection task of complicated objects. The inspection path is near-optimal.
Inspection paths are generated in Matlab using custom algorithms. Inverse kinematic computations and collision detection are performed in V-REP and communicated to Matlab.
