I made a tutorial on how to export V-REP simulations into Blender. To do this I created a V-REP model and a blender script that does all the work. These are available here.
This results in a video like this (actual quality is better due to Youtube compression)
Tutorial: Render V-REP simulations in Blender in two easy steps
Re: Tutorial: Render V-REP simulations in Blender in two easy steps
This work is amazing!
However why not use the glTF format which supports all of this (shapes, material, animations) and Blender already has an importer for that?

Hi fferri,
Thanks.
glTF is indeed a better option. This is just something that I quickly threw toghether to fit my needs (something like 2 hours of work). Maybe I will look into the glTF option in the future if I find some time (I've been extremely busy lately).
Kind regards,
Boris
