Registration request error

Hello, I already registered for the EDU version, but I am getting a message to register continuously.

please try again. Does it at least work a first time? i.e. the first time you enter the registration code, does it accept it, or reject it?
Also, could it be that the user settings folder is somehow overwritten/modified by a third-party application? You can find the location of that folder by typing sim.getStringParam(sim.stringparam_usersettingsdir)
